![]() The main thing that is new in this version is that I strongly emphasize on gearing at level 70, listing the top items of every slot so you know which items are better than others for locks, and by what margin. Please keep in mind that this is strictly a PvE guide because 1) I suck at PvP AND 2) PvP gear guides are pretty pointless since there are many changing factors that can determine PvP success. Looking back at the old guide, a lot of the information and gear is outdated and slightly inaccurate, so I have decided to completely revamp my guide in a way that I think will help locks tremendously and present the information in a much more organized and useful fashion. It's been about a year since I came out with my original gear guide, Gearing Your Warlock, which was pretty well received and since then, my guides have received over 700,000 views because of all guys' support. * Key items to acquire from each raid level Key items from Tier 6 instances (Mount Hyjal/Black Temple/Sunwell Plateau) Key items from Tier 5 instances (Zul'Aman/Serpentshrine Cavern/Tempest Keep)Ĥ. ![]() Key items from Tier 4 instances (Karazhan, Gruul, Magtheridon)ģ. This is mainly for the folks who are in guilds struggling with Kara, and in light of that probably also have a bit of trouble getting groups together to get Lower City rep for their Gavel. It's just a matter of time before you get better. If your guild is in good enough shape that no locks or mages need them, and you can down Prince/Doomwalker on a regular basis, then no, I wouldn't waste my time on getting this crafted. ![]() Specifically for elemental shaman, balance druids and shadow or smite priests who don't have all that many alternatives, and who most likely have to roll against each other as well as mages/locks for the upgrades that come as drops (in most cases, the Mindblade/Talon is also an upgrade for mages and locks, who will be rolling despite the fact that they're daggers). Overall, this is a nice dagger if you don't raid, or have really bad luck with drops. Comment by ThottbotDon't forget Talon of the Tempest off of Doomwalker. ![]()
